DEFROSTING
Note:
Do not use sharp or metal objects to
remove the ice. They can damage the
cooling system.
Excessive ice build-up is harmful
to refrigerator performance and
requires more effort from the
compressor.
Defrost the Icemaker about once a
week or when the ice layer is
between 0.5 to 1.0 cm or
approximately the thickness of a
pencil).
Set thermostat to the OFF position.
Unplug the refrigerator.
Remove the items from the
Icemaker and store it in a thermal
insulated container.
Leave the refrigerator door open
until the ice has melted away.
When the defrosting operation is
complete remove the water from
the drip tray and dry it.
A thorough cleaning of the inside
surface of the Icemaker is
recommended whenever the
defrosting operation is performed.
Replace the items inside the
Icemaker.
Plug in the refrigerator.
Set the thermostat to your desired
setting.
CARE AND CLEANING
Explosion Hazard
Use nonflammable cleaner.
Failure to do so can result in death,
explosion, or fire.
The refrigeration unit does not
require maintenance.
The compressor is completely sealed
and self lubricating.
Clean the refrigerator thoroughly
every two months to prevent the
build up of odors.
Wipe up spills immediately.
Cleaning your refrigerator:
Set the thermostat to OFF.
Unplug the
refrigerator.
Remove all food
from the
refrigerator and
store it in a
thermal insulated
container.
Remove all removable parts from
inside, such as shelves, crispers, etc.
Use a clean sponge or soft cloth and
a mild detergent in warm water. Do
not use abrasive or harsh cleaners.
Hand wash, rinse and dry all
surfaces thoroughly.
Put the food back in the refrigerator
and plug it in.
Leave the refrigerator operating for
two hours with the door closed and
the thermostat set to maximum.
After 2 hours, set the thermostat to
your desired setting.
