Troubleshooting
Malfunctions:
The internal light does not illuminate
and the appliance does not work.
The refrigerator and the freezer and
the appliance does not work.
The food inside the refrigerator is
beginning to freeze.
The motor runs continuously.
The appliance makes a lot of noise.
Some of the external parts of the
refrigerator become hot.
The back wall of the refrigerator unit
is covered in frost or droplets of
water.
There is water at the bottom of the
refrigerator.
Possible causes / Solutions:
• Theplughasnotbeeninsertedintotheelectricalsocket,ornotfarenough
to make contact, or the fuse has blown, there is no power in the house.
• Thedoorsdonotcloseproperlyorthesealsaredamaged.
• Thedoorsareopenedtoofrequently.
• TheTEMPERATUREADJUSTMENTknobisnotinthecorrectposition
• Therefrigeratororthefreezerhavebeenover-filled.
• Theatmospherictemperatureoftheareasurroundingtheapplianceis
lower than 10°C.
• TheTEMPERATUREADJUSTMENTknobisnotinthecorrectposition.
• Thefoodisincontactwiththebackinsidewalloftherefrigerator.
• Thedoorisnotclosedproperlyoriscontinuouslyopened.
• Theoutsideambienttemperatureisveryhigh.
• Thethicknessofthefrostexceeds2-3mm(see Maintenance).
• Theappliancehasnotbeeninstalledonalevelsurface(see Installation).
• Theappliancehasbeeninstalledbetweencabinetsthatvibrateand
make noise.
•Theinternalrefrigerantmakesaslightnoiseevenwhenthecompressor
is off. This is not a defect, it is normal.
•Theseraisedtemperaturesarenecessaryinordertoavoidtheformation
of condensation on certain parts of the product.
•Thisshowstheapplianceisoperatingnormally.
• Thewaterdischargeholeisblocked(see Maintenance).
