6. Close the oven door.
7. Select the symbol with the functions knob: the word STARCLEAN™ appears on the display.
8. Press button to confirm the choice and start the cleaning cycle. To prevent steam coming out, do
not open the door during the cycle.
9. At the end of the cycle, remove the cellulose cloth and eliminate any residual water in the oven.
10. Then start cleaning using the sponge provided, moistened with hot water (cleaning could be
compromised if delayed by more than 15 minutes).
Particularly stubborn grime
To eliminate particularly stubborn grime, repeat the STARCLEAN™ cycle and add a few drops of neutral
detergent while removing the grime.
Cleaning inside glass
The inside surface of the door glass has a special coating that makes it easy to cleaning.
To keep the door glass in best condition, after every STARCLEAN™ cleaning cycle, clean the glass using just
water and a non-abrasive sponge.
Add a few drops of neutral detergent to the water to eliminate any greasy residuals.
NOTES:
The oven door can be removed to facilitate cleaning (see MAINTENANCE).
The top heating element of the grill (see MAINTENANCE) can be lowered to clean the roof of the
appliance.
During prolonged cooking of foods containing lots of water (e.g. pizza, vegetables, etc.),
condensation may form inside the door and on the seal. Dry with a cloth or sponge when the
oven is cold.
Accessories:
Soak the accessories in water with washing up detergent after use, handling them with oven gloves if
still hot.
Food residues can be removed using a suitable brush or sponge.
Do not put the enamelled accessories in a dishwasher. The harsh detergents normally used in
dishwashers can permanently damage the enamel.
REMOVING THE DOOR
To remove the door:
1. Open the door fully.
2. Lift the catches and push them forwards as far as they will go (Fig. 1).
3. Close the door as far as it will go (A), lift it up (B) and turn it (C) until it is released (D) (Fig. 2).
To refit the door:
1. Insert the hinges in their seats.
2. Open the door fully.
3. Lower the two catches.
4. Close the door.
