TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE

AFTER SALES SERVICE

1. The temperatures in the compartments

are not cold enough

• Is the food preventing proper closing of

the doors?

• Is the appliance too close to a heat

source?

• Are the temperatures set correct?

• Is the condenser clean?

• Is the air flow restricted?

2. The temperature inside the refrigerator

compartment is too cold

• Is the temperature set correct?

3. The appliance is excessively noisy

• Is the appliance in contact with other

furniture or objects?

• Are the pipes in the back touching or

vibrating?

• Has the compressor fixing block been

removed?

4. The appliance does not operate

• Is there a power failure?

• Is the appliance plugged in correctly?

• Has the fuse blown?

• Is the supply cord broken?

• Are buttons 1 and 4 pressed?

5. Water on the floor of the refrigerator

compartment

• Is the temperature set correct?

• Is the defrost drain obstructed?

6. The inside light does not work

(see point 4).

First check point 4 then:

• Disconnect the appliance from the mains

supply.

• Remove the bulb cover.

Check the bulb and replace it if necessary.

Replace the bulb by a new one. Do not

exceed 15 W.

N.B.: This product uses a special bulb.

To replace it do not unscrew but pull it

towards the inside of the appliance.

For Great Britain only

Check that the plug fuse is well fitted. A 13 A

fuse must be used.

Check removable plugs for loose connections

and tighten them if necessary.

Loose connections can overheat the plug.

Before contacting Customer

Service

1. Try to remedy the problem (see “Trouble-

shooting guide”).

2. Restart the programme toosee if the falut is

repeated.

3. If the malfunction presists, call Customer

Service and specify:

• The nature model of the appliance

• The exact model of the appliance

• The service code

(number after the word SERVICE, on the

rating plate at the side of the crispers).

• Your full address

• Your telephone number and area code.

Note: Door swing change, if carried out by the

After-Sale Service, is not covered by the

warranty
