Humming or whining noise Water inlet valve on dryer is running. The water inlet valve on the dryer is used during the Steam function. If
with Steam cycle selected the dryer hasjust been instalied or unused for an extended period, the
(on some models) valve may be louder and run longer. This is normal.
NOTE: Thevalve may makethis noiseeven with no water line connected.
Thumping noise Dryer hasn't been used in a while. This is normal. The thumping sound should diminish after a few
minutes of use.
